Bob Huggins 12th Annual Fish Fry Announces Special Guests, Live Entertainment, Auctions, and More
MORGANTOWN, WV (March 18, 2024) – College Basketball Hall of Famer, Coach Bob Huggins, recently announced the 12th Annual Bob Huggins Fish Fry to be held on April 6 at Mylan Park in Morgantown.
The 2024 Bob Huggins Fish Fry will take place on Saturday, April 6th, at Mylan Park in Morgantown. Doors will open at 5:30PM. Tickets are on sale now through April 4 at BobHugginsFishFry.org.
Joining the Fish Fry this year is special guest, MLB All-Time Hit Leader, Pete Rose. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Rose and are welcome to bring memorabilia to be signed. Rose will join Huggins in a Question-and-Answer session moderated by the event’s emcee, WVU Basketball Hall of Famer, Meg Bulger.
In true West Virginia fashion, the Fish Fry entertainment will consist of a live mine rescue demonstration by the 2024 International Champions Mine Rescue Team. Additionally, live music will be performed by both Beckley, West Virginia native and rising star, Noah West and the Honky Tonk Hound Dogs, and live art demonstrations will be performed by sculptor Jamie Lester and painter Mike Tressler.
“This year’s Fish Fry will be one to remember. We are proud to host some local legends and world-class talent to support causes that are near to my heart,” said Huggins. “This will be a night of good ole West Virginia fun and giving back to the state and people we all love so dearly.”
As anticipation continues to build for the event, guests can participate in a silent auction as well as a 50/50 raffle where unique items and experiences will be up for grabs. During the event, professional auctioneer Joe R. Pyle will host the live action at the Fish Fry, providing guests with exclusive access to in-person auction only items.
Proceeds from the Bob Huggins Fish Fry, presented by Little General Stores, benefit the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Endowment in support of cancer care services at Vandalia Health and the Remember the Miners Scholars Program.
